Daily #207. Effort is not something that can be measured by outcome, but only by your own heart. That, at least, is what I believe.

This was actually the beginning and end to a longer piece I had written, but I cut out the entire middle - which was my personal experiences with school and competitions - because it was too difficult to draw, and also too long.

hit me right in the fucking feels.

we measure everyone on our own spectrums, quantifying their worth on the tiniest sliver of an infinite scale

and holding them to the standards we want to achieve.

just let everyone do their own thing.

a car, a job, an education, marriage, and babies doesn’t equal happiness.

sometimes it’s just being able to wake up in the morning and smile at the person sleeping next to you, or the one staring back at you in the mirror.

and you don’t get to decide the worth of that simply because it means nothing to you.
